Auriel was founded in 2005 by Felice Cappa and his wife, Marta Peloso. While Felice is in charge of the winemaking, his wife Marta is big in biodynamics, as she writes and publishes articles on the subject. The Domaine covers 3 hectares, planted with Barbera and Grignolino. The Domaine is surrounded by the most beautiful nature, with both fields and forest. The work in the field is biodynamic, and the cellar work is hands-off. The parcels are located 350 meters above sea level.
Expect a classic expression of wine from Piedmont, but with a more lively structure and rustic charm.
