Damien took over the family-owned Cidrerie Lemasson in 1999. The tradition has always been to produce cider in deep respect and with nature and traditional cider making and high quality. They became one of the area's first organic certified cideries in 1988.
Damien is a local and is deeply passionate about cider and the terroir of Normandy. He has traditional know-how but is also modernizing his cider making while fighting to preserve the surrounding environment and its diversity and using local apple varieties.
Expect ciders with a more vinous structure and balance with more acidity and slight bitterness, with a slight tannic grip. The ciders are spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts and have a subtle funkiness to them.
