Domaine La Rune

Located near the village of Talairan, on the road leading to Lagrasse and its famous abbey, Domaine La Rune owes its creation to Xavier and Dominique Rémon. Livng with modest means in 2001, they gradually developed a vineyard which today turned out to be on a magnificent terroir, capable of producing fantastic wines. The wines enchant the palate with their personality and naturalness that excludes neither elegance nor the notion of pleasure.

Here, the history of "good" wine is therefore being written. A second chapter is already shaping up, embodied by the arrival to the estate of their son Manuel, fully winemaker of La Rune since 2014. On land that 'he already knew, he stimulated new commitments for even more conscientious viticulture and oriented the style of the wines towards more accuracy. In addition, he asserts himself on the destinies of the domain by readily advocating the use of Cinsault, a variety that holds great promise here, not to mention its adaptation to inevitable climatic changes.

An artisanal ethic guides the approach of La Rune and frames its mode of operation. It prevails in all tasks and deals with the mechanization necessary in the management of the vines. Moreover, most of the work is done by hand, including obviously the harvest. The vineyards are completely organic certified. It will give more meaning to an approach that respects the terroir, already ensuring that the vinifications take place without resorting to exogenous yeasts. Currently, great attention is paid to the use of sulphur to minimize its presence in the final product and most wines are made completely without sulphur.
