Your Natural Wine Friend - in the middle of Copenhagen

Porta del Vento
Let the wind in.
Marco Sferlazzo is an educated pharmacist, but the romantic memories of his grandfather's vineyard and old wooden press became too much for him. So in 2002, he discovered a small wine estate just north of Camporeale, Sicily, that was placed 600 meters above sea level, the most elevated parcels in the area with a soil composition of sandstone, chalk and red clay.
The name Porta del Vento, means the gateway or door for the wind. Since the vineyard is placed between mountain tiers, where the cooling winds from the Tyrrhenian ocean breeze through and keep the grapes healthy, balances humidity and extends the maturation period.
All farming is organically certified, and indigenous yeasts start the magic.
