2021 La Bamboche

Here is a wine that will delight you with its freshness on any day with friends & some tasty things to eat. A bomb of red berries explodes in my mouth on every sip alongside its crunchy tannins & peppery undertones. I feel like this is a red that everyone needs in their lives.

100% Cabernet Franc from vines undergoing organic conversion, planted around 1970 in the communes of Dampierre-sur-Loire, Varrains and Chaintres, in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny appellation, and which has alluvial soils on clay-limestone base. Manual harvesting and natural vinification: total destemming, 20 days of maceration with little extraction, aging in vats for six months, bottled in March 2022 without fining, filtration or added sulphites.
