2019 Hautes Cotes de Nuits

Rare with only 556 bottles of this wine made each year. A benchmark example of one of the rarer sub-appellations of Burgundy in and around Nuits St George, the wine has bags of vibrance with slightly darker and robust fruit flavours than its sister from Cotes de Nuits Villages. Blueberry, blackberry, black cherries and a gentle pepperiness are underpinned by lingering, refreshing acidity. Superb value for a wine made in such small quantities and expresses a modern style of Burgundy winemaking.
