2020 Querschnitt Rot

The name Querschnitt means cross-section and thus perfectly describes the wine. It is made of a blend of red varieties based on Zweigeltrebe from three old vineyards in the Neckermarkt area. The local soil has a low nutrient content which naturally regulates the growth of the vine and the grapes give a very extractive must. 

Querschnitt is a very playful, light and fruity red wine made for the winemaker's pleasure and enjoyment. The aroma is mostly cherry tones with a mild scent of spice. The wine is unfiltered and contains no added sulphites.
