Frais Reel

Cidrerie de l'Apothicarie makes insanely delicious and complex wild-fermented cider in southern Brittany. Frais Reel has a sour fermented caramelized scent of ripe apples complemented by a clean and bold natural vinous style. The acidity can be compared somewhat to sour beer or orange wine, without which it becomes too dominant or "stable", as some natural cider can become. The taste is powerful, but with a nice fresh and mouth-watering bitter note. Frais Reel is made exclusively from local sour/sour cider apple varieties from Brittany, which gives the cider a unique acidity. The cider will go well with heavier salads, light meat, fish or alone on the terrace.
