Elements of Islay is a series of independently bottled whiskeys from the island of Islay, off the west coast of Scotland and is famous and notorious for heavily smoked whiskey. The series can be recognized by the characteristic laboratory-like bottle and the label inspired by the periodic table.
The whiskey is pale with fantastic aromas of citrus peel, charcoal, bacon, and wet seashells. When tasted, it should invoke flavours of salted caramel, wood smoke, and chocolate. The scotch is terrific on its own but also great in cocktails.
